Your Role Will Include

• Performing thorough patient evaluations, scheduling diagnostic assessments, and developing customized care strategies
• Identifying and managing acute, episodic, or chronic health issues, in partnership with physicians or on your own (depending on your credentials)
• Providing education to patients and their families on wellness, preventative care, and effective disease management
• Prescribing medications and treatments within the designated scope of practice
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing long-term care

• Accurately documenting all patient interactions within electronic medical records (EMR)

Qualifications Required

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Florida
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or the ability to secure these within 90 days)
