Position Summary:

The Education Foundation Support position provides administrative, operational, and program support for the Education Foundation, a charitable organization dedicated to enhancing student achievement through scholarships, grants, and educational programs. This position assists with foundation activities including donor relations, fundraising events, scholarship coordination, financial tracking, communications, and community engagement. The role supports the Foundation's mission by helping ensure efficient operations, positive stakeholder relationships, and successful implementation of programs that benefit students and educators.

Essential Functions:

• Collaborate with Education Foundation and district stakeholders to provide administrative and operational support for Education Foundation programs and initiatives.
• Coordinate scholarship and grant application processes, including application tracking, communication, and record maintenance.
• Assist in planning, organizing, and supporting fundraising events, donor campaigns, and community outreach activities.
• Maintain accurate donor, volunteer, scholarship, and financial records in foundation databases and filing systems.
• Prepare correspondence, reports, meeting agendas, presentations, and promotional materials.
• Serve as a point of contact for donors, students, staff, volunteers, and community partners by responding to inquiries and providing information.
• Support donor stewardship activities, including acknowledgements, recognition efforts, and communication initiatives.
• Assist with processing donations, tracking expenditures, and reconciling financial documentation in accordance with organizational procedures.
• Coordinate meetings, committee activities, and volunteer schedules, including preparation of meeting materials and minutes.
• Support marketing and communication efforts through website updates, newsletters, social media content, and promotional outreach.
• Monitor program timelines and assist with ensuring compliance with foundation policies and scholarship requirements.
• Maintain confidentiality for the purpose of ensuring information is provided only in accordance with district policy and administrative guidelines, state and federal laws.
• Respond to inquiries from various internal and external parties for the purpose of providing information and/or direction.

Other Functions:

• Perform other related duties as assigned for the purpose of ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the work unit.

Job Requirements: Minimum Qualifications Skills, Knowledge, and Abilities:

Skills are required to perform multiple tasks with a potential need to upgrade skills in order to meet changing job conditions. Specific skill based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include: operating standard office equipment including pertinent software applications. Knowledge is required to perform basic math, including calculations using fractions, percents, and/or ratios; read a variety of manuals, write documents following prescribed formats, and/or present information to others; and understand complex, multi-step written and oral instructions. Specific knowledge-based competencies required to satisfactorily perform the functions of the job include professional telephone etiquette. Ability is required to schedule activities and/or meetings; gather and/or collate data; and use basic, job-related equipment. Flexibility is required to independently work with others in a wide variety of circumstances; work with data utilizing specific, defined processes; and operate equipment using defined methods. Ability is also required to work with a significant diversity of individuals and/or groups; work with similar types of data; and utilize specific, job-related equipment. Responsibility: Responsibilities include: working under direct supervision using standardized routines; leading, guiding, and/or coordinating others; operating within a defined budget. Utilization of some resources from other work units may be required to perform the job's functions. Work Environment: The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, and significant fine finger dexterity. Generally, the job requires 80% sitting, 10% walking, and 10% standing. The job is performed under conditions with some exposure to risk of injury and/or illness. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. Experience: Job related experience is required. Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Equivalency: Prefer experience with Microsoft Office and other pertinent software applications.
