Floater Legal Administrative Assistant

We are seeking a flexible and proactive Floater Legal Administrative Assistant for our client's Tampa office. The ideal candidate will have at least four years of litigation-focused legal administrative experience and demonstrate strong organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and familiarity with document management systems such as iManage are preferred. The role requires the ability to multitask, prioritize effectively, and adapt quickly to new technology.

Responsibilities include providing coverage for Legal Administrative Assistants and reception duties as needed, supporting attorneys with preparing and editing legal documents, scheduling court appearances and depositions, e-filing with federal and state courts, managing attorney time entries and client billing, and conducting new client intake and conflict checks. The position also involves coordinating attorney travel, appointments, and meetings, updating calendars and contact lists, and assisting with overflow administrative tasks.
