About the Role

Responsibilities


- Provide advanced technical assistance to I|3 staff and business stakeholders across concurrent projects.
- Lead and coordinate meetings to analyze, document, and improve business operations, systems, and user needs.
- Drive comprehensive requirement analysis to inform the design of innovative technology solutions.
- Facilitate user acceptance testing, document software defects, and collaborate with technical leads for prompt resolution.
- Develop detailed business process maps, fit-gap analyses, and requirements documentation.
- Prepare and execute test plans, lead test activities, and communicate testing results effectively.
- Support development of project management plans and associated work artifacts.
- Maintain high performance while working independently under tight deadlines.


Required Skills and Experience


- 8+ years planning, leading, gathering, and analyzing business and functional requirements.
- 8+ years developing business process maps and conducting fit-gap analyses.
- 8+ years troubleshooting complex software systems and solving problems.
- 8+ years managing requirements across multiple program areas with varying business needs.
- 8+ years gathering, documenting, and capturing design requirements.
- 8+ years developing Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and Software Requirement Specifications (SRS).
- 8+ years facilitating workshops and meetings with cross-functional, remote teams.
- 8+ years preparing/executing test plans and documenting test results.
- 8+ years implementing/testing interfaces for large, complex legacy systems.
- 8+ years supporting project management life cycle planning and documentation.
- 8+ years using SDLC management tools such as HP ALM or Atlassian.
- 8+ years with Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act (WIOA) and Participant Individual Record Layout (PIRL).


Preferred Skills


- 4+ years experience working with the State of Texas.
