Senior Graphic DesignerCastalia Systems is seeking a Senior Graphic Designer with expertise in design principles, an exceptional eye for detail, and a passion for producing creative and impactful visual materials that support the client's mission and enhance brand identity.Roles and ResponsibilitiesA qualified candidate will perform the following duties and responsibilities, but are not limited to:Apply graphic design skills to create a wide range of deliverables, including FINTEL, logos, publications, presentations, multimedia products, and potentially videos, while ensuring compliance with Section 508 accessibility standards.Leverage design principles such as typography, hierarchy, and visual balance to craft visually appealing assets that align with organizational branding and messaging, ensuring consistency across all materials.Manage multiple work assignments by applying accuracy, time management, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.Work collaboratively within a team of designers, engage with senior designers for feedback, and collaborate with stakeholders to conceptualize project requirements and deliver solutions that effectively communicate government or defense-sector priorities.Required QualificationsMaster's degree in a related field.12+ years of experience in graphic design across print, digital, and multimedia products or a BS degree and 17+ years of experience in graphic design across print, digital, and multimedia productsExperience with Section 508 compliance for designing and developing accessible productsExperience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint and Word, and design tools such as Premiere Pro, XD, After Effects, and MAPublisherExperience facilitating client-facing discussions to interpret workforce messaging, display data visually, and conceptualize analytic ideasExperience working within the government or defense sectorsKnowledge of DoD or Intelligence Community (IC) processes and requirementsAbility to provide a portfolio showcasing a broad range of design work, including visual solutions for complex challengesAbility to collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and deliver design outcomes that align with mission-focused goalsDesired QualificationsExperience supporting intelligence analysts and senior-level or executive staff with tailored graphic design solutionsAbility to set expectations, define project timelines, and deliver quality products with minimal supervision or oversightAbility to collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams in a dynamic environmentPhysical Requirements/Work EnvironmentNormal office environment.TravelLess than 5%.Company DescriptionCastalia Systems is a proven business partner providing mission critical solutions to the Federal Government. The projected compensation range for this position is $104,000.00 to $113,000.00 (annualized USD).
