About the Role
Our client, a leading global consumer packaged goods company, is seeking a Contract Experienced Recruiter to support hiring initiatives across North America. This organization operates within the food manufacturing and consumer products industry and is recognized for its focus on innovation, operational excellence, and building diverse, high-performing teams.
As a Contract Experienced Recruiter, you will manage full-cycle recruiting activities across multiple business functions, partnering closely with hiring managers and HR stakeholders to identify, attract, and hire experienced talent. This role requires strong sourcing expertise, candidate relationship management skills, and the ability to manage multiple searches simultaneously while delivering an exceptional candidate experience. • Manage full life cycle recruiting processes from intake through offer acceptance.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify qualified candidates for difficult-to-fill positions.
• Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
• Partner with hiring managers and HR Business Partners to develop recruiting strategies and workforce plans.
• Conduct candidate sourcing, screening, assessment, and interview coordination activities.
• Serve as an advocate for both candidates and hiring teams throughout the recruitment process.
• Provide regular communication and follow-up to ensure a positive candidate and client experience.
• Support diversity recruiting initiatives and inclusive hiring practices.
• Monitor recruiting trends, labor market activity, compensation trends, and talent availability.
• Utilize applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruiting tools to source, track, and manage candidates.
• Manage multiple requisitions and stakeholder relationships simultaneously while meeting hiring objectives.
• Represent employment opportunities through networking events, professional communities, industry conferences, and talent-focused events.
• Support employer branding and talent attraction initiatives within target candidate markets.

Qualifications
Required

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6+ years of progressive recruiting experience in a corporate, agency, or search firm environment.
• Experience managing full life cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer management, and onboarding coordination.
• Demonstrated success in candidate sourcing, including proactive outreach, talent mapping, and pipeline development.
• Experience managing multiple requisitions, projects, and client relationships simultaneously.
• Experience recruiting for supply chain, technical, digital, corporate, or field-based roles.
• Experience developing and executing recruiting strategies, including candidate management and interview process coordination.
• Hands-on experience using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruiting technologies.
• Strong client management and relationship-building skills.
• Experience negotiating and managing employment offers.
• Excellent organization, documentation, and follow-up skills.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Preferred

• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience recruiting within the consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, food production, or related industries.
• Knowledge of big data, analytics, or data-driven recruiting approaches.
• Advanced sourcing experience for supply chain talent.
• Experience supporting diversity, equity, and inclusion recruiting initiatives.
• Participation in professional recruiting communities, industry conferences, meetups, or talent networking events.
