The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-process and final product inspections to ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for non-conforming materials or products.
• Calibrate and maintain inspection, measurement, and test equipment.
• Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records.
• Assist in the development and revision of quality control procedures and work instructions.
• Support production teams in identifying and resolving quality-related issues.
• Participate in internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems.

Recommended Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2+ years experience in a manufacturing quality role
• Proficient in using measurement tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers, gauges)
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong understanding of quality control principles and methodologies

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles (e.g., 5S, Kaizen).
• Familiarity with Six Sigma methodologies (Green Belt certification a plus).
• Proficiency in using Statistical Process Control (SPC) software.
• Experience with calibration of measurement equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T.
