Registered Nurse - Mixed Unit Telemetry

Schedule

Day shift, 4x12-hour shifts (07:00 - 19:00). Weekend requirement: Every other weekend. Floating required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a mixed unit telemetry position in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong telemetry experience and the ability to manage high acuity patients effectively. Must have experience in total joints, and prior rapid response team experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care to a mixed population including Med-Surg, Med-Surg Telemetry, and PCU.
• Manage a patient ratio of 1:6, ensuring quality care and patient safety.
• Perform assessments, administer medications, and implement care plans.
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to emergency situations.
• Utilize telemetry skills effectively to assess patient conditions.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience with strong telemetry skills.
• Current ACLS, BCLS, and NIHSS certifications.
• Must hold a valid Florida or compact RN license.
