Executive Chef

EXECUTIVE CHEF – BRIDEWELL TAVERN | BURR RIDGE, IL

Bridewell Tavern is seeking an experienced Executive Chef or seasoned Sous Chef who is ready to take the next step into an Executive Chef role to lead our back-of-house team and help take our kitchen to the next level.

We’re looking for someone who is ready to take ownership of a kitchen — a strong, hands-on leader who knows how to build a team, create accountability, and deliver consistent execution every service.

What We’re Looking For:
• Proven experience leading and developing a kitchen team
• Strong understanding of labor management, scheduling, food cost, inventory, and waste control
• Ability to establish and maintain consistency in recipes, portions, preparation, and presentation
• Hands-on leadership style with the ability to coach, train, and hold a team accountable
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to maintain high standards in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Commitment to cleanliness, food safety, and kitchen organization
• Experience as an Executive Chef, Executive Sous Chef, Sous Chef, Chef de Cuisine, or similar culinary leadership role
• Spanish-speaking or bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
