Key responsibilities include preparing surfaces, handling materials, and assisting with various painting methods such as spray painting, staining, woodworking, and restoration. The role involves maintaining clean workspaces and equipment while adhering to company-specific safety and equipment training.
Responsibilities
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching
- Handle and organize painting materials and supplies
- Maintain and clean painting equipment regularly
- Assist painters with mixing and applying paints
- Set up and break down job sites efficiently
- Dispose of waste materials safely and according to guidelines
- Support specialized painting techniques including spray painting and staining
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in painting or construction
- Physical stamina to perform manual tasks and work on varied job sites
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Good time management and attention to detail
