Position Overview

A highly regarded, growing regional law firm is seeking an experienced Transactional Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-to-senior level associate looking to take ownership of complex matters, work directly with a diverse client base, and play a pivotal role in a thriving transactional practice.


The ideal candidate will possess 5-7 years of law firm experience with a strong background in civil transaction work, contract drafting, and corporate strategy. You will manage a wide range of commercial transactions from inception to closing while providing practical, business-minded legal guidance.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of sophisticated transactional documents related to real estate, easements, government and municipal law, land use, entitlements, and mergers & acquisitions (M&A).
  
  
• Advise clients on business transactions, risk management, regulatory compliance, and strategic contract negotiation.
  
  
• Independently manage transactions from initial structuring through closing and post-closing activities.
  
  
• Partner closely with clients, senior attorneys, and cross-functional business teams to ensure seamless execution of legal matters.
  
  
• Conduct thorough legal research to provide clear, actionable recommendations on complex transactional and corporate law issues.
  
  
• Maintain and grow strong client relationships, contribute to business development initiatives, and mentor junior attorneys and support staff.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with the Idaho State Bar (or immediate eligibility to waive in).
  
  
• 5-7 years of dedicated transactional experience within a law firm environment.
  
  
• Proven track record handling commercial contracts and corporate transactions. Exceptional drafting, negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
  
  
• Ability to independently manage a high-volume workload and multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
