About the Opportunity A growing global organization is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Operations Finance team. This role will play a critical part in ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, supporting operational decision‑making, strengthening internal controls, and driving continuous process improvements across a dynamic supply chain business environment. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and company reporting requirements. Manage general ledger activities, journal entries, account reconciliations, and month‑end close processes. Support annual external audits and collaborate with corporate accounting teams to satisfy audit requirements. Analyze investments, operational performance, and financial results to support strategic business decisions. Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures. Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable activities, ensuring timely and accurate processing. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial planning initiatives. Manage and validate customer and supplier retroactive pricing programs. Lead inventory reconciliations and ensure accurate inventory valuation on financial statements. Mentor and provide guidance to junior accounting staff as needed. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2-3+ years of progressive accounting experience, preferably within manufacturing, distribution, supply chain, or operational environments. Strong knowledge of financial reporting and accounting principles; IFRS experience highly preferred. Advanced experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively across all levels of the organization.
