About the Role We’re looking for Chinese language experts to help evaluate and improve AI systems built for Chinese language learning and communication. Your linguistic insight and teaching experience will directly shape how AI understands, assesses, and teaches Chinese — making a real impact on one of the world's most widely spoken languages. Organization: Alignerr Type: Hourly Contract Location: Remote Commitment: Minimum 15 hours/week Schedule: Fully asynchronous — work on your own time Chinese Language Expert (AI Training) What You'll Do Evaluate AI-generated Chinese speech and text for linguistic accuracy, naturalness, and educational quality Assess learner speech and writing across proficiency levels from CEFR Pre-A1 through B2+ Apply expert judgment to identify learner errors, unnatural phrasing, and pedagogical gaps Suggest improvements for clear, idiomatic, and culturally appropriate Chinese Provide structured feedback that strengthens AI tutoring and language‑learning models Collaborate asynchronously with project leads and fellow language experts Who You Are Native‑level proficiency in Chinese Experience teaching Chinese or evaluating learner language Strong written communication skills in English (C1/C2 level) Solid familiarity with learner speech patterns and CEFR frameworks Enrolled in or completed a Bachelor's degree or higher Attention to detail and consistency in linguistic judgment No prior AI experience required Nice to Have Background in language assessment, curriculum design, or standardized testing Exposure to AI‑powered language tools or educational technology Comfort working independently in structured, asynchronous workflows Why Join Us Work on cutting‑edge AI projects with top research labs Fully remote and flexible — work entirely on your own schedule Freelance perks: autonomy, variety, and global collaboration Contribute to meaningful work that improves AI for Chinese speakers and learners worldwide Potential for ongoing work and contract extension #J-18808-Ljbffr Alignerr
