Shift: 6:45 PM - 7:00 AM

Experience:

• 24 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 36 months of Medical Surgical / Telemetry Unit experience with 12 months within the last 36 months (3 years).

• Experience with Paragon is preferred.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Texas license or compact license (required after submission).

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Local & travel allowed.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

Additional Details:

An interview may not be available prior to offer. Each employment history entry must include detailed duties, hospital size, unit size, trauma level (if applicable), patient ratio, and whether the facility was a teaching facility. At least one reference must be from the same unit/specialty as the job you’re applying to. Must disclose previous employment on your resume or elsewhere within the submission for a DNU check.

Required Skills/Experience: - Tele monitor techs monitor patients, but RNs must be able to read strips.

Special Requests: - Any employment gaps greater than 30 days must be explained. - Cannot apply to more than one job order on the same unit and shift at the facility. - No previous employment allowed at this facility.

Unit Details: - Transitioned to a virtual integrated care nursing model. - Common diagnoses/types of patients include CHF, diabetes, PNA, CKD, and Med/Surg Tele. - PCTs are present 12/1. - CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow patients. - Kurth Tower is all Med/Surg Tele.

Shift & Scheduling: - Must work the schedule given. - Every other weekend required. - Holidays as required.

Floating Requirements: - Will float to all Med/Surg units.

7 days maximum time off. Facility holidays: 11/26/2026, 12/25/2026, 01/01/2027. Number of holidays allowed off: 1. Start assignment restriction: 14 days

2 Charge/Lead references required from within the last 12 months
