Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Uplands Counseling Center, your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting assessments and developing personalized treatment plans for individuals and families.
\n
• Facilitating therapy sessions both virtually and in-person, focusing on couples and family dynamics.

• Addressing a variety of challenges including but not limited to alcohol abuse, conflicts within family structures, grief and loss, job stress, and communication difficulties.
\n
• Providing ongoing support through therapeutic techniques tailored to the unique needs of each client.
\n
• Documenting sessions and maintaining client records in accordance with state and federal regulations.
\n
• Collaborating with other health care professionals within our integrated care model to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will span a diverse range of clients, including adults, children, and adolescents. You will be entrusted with addressing various issues that affect family systems, such as adjustment to separation and divorce and blended family dynamics. Your ability to navigate sensitive topics and foster open communication will be essential in meeting the therapeutic needs of this population.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A current and valid license to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
