Materials Management Associate

Materials Management Associate – 1st Shift Location: Eagan, Minnesota. Work schedule: 1st Shift, 6:30AM – 2:30PM with occasional overtime and weekend shifts. Eligible for a $2,500 sign‑on bonus after 90 days in the role. Responsibilities Operate a powered industrial vehicle equipped with lift devices to move products, equipment, or materials safely. Unload trucks and boxcars, perform goods receipts, cycle counting, and deliver orders. Use ERP (e.g., SAP, MII) and radio‑frequency equipment to record material movement activities. Pick, sort, pack, and ensure items arrive to the customer in quality condition. Monitor, stock, and transport materials or finished goods to designated areas. Inventory materials and finished goods, maintain records, and reject unsatisfactory items. Process returns and determine if product should return to stock based on quality. Provide data to internal departments and document activities on Tier Boards. Operate two‑way radio for communication and perform daily maintenance of equipment. Participate in the safety program, meet quality and productivity standards, and maintain housekeeping procedures. Recommend and implement process improvements; participate in project teams as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED required. 1–2+ years’ experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse environments. Preference for experience with enterprise resource systems (e.g., SAP) and lift truck operation. Ability to read and interpret procedural documents and safety rules. Certification and operation of power material handling equipment. Basic math and computer skills. Capacity to lift up to 50lb and stand for extended periods. Flexibility to work overtime and shift changes as required. Strong oral communication via two‑way radios. Works well independently and as part of a team. Compensation & Benefits Base hourly rate: $18.00 – $34.00 USD. Second‑shift differential: $4.00 per hour; third‑shift differential: $5.00 per hour. Eligible for a performance‑based annual bonus. Sign‑on bonus: $2,500 after 90 days. Annual overtime (up to 4hrs/day) and occasional weekend shifts. Health, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance.
