Production Operator
Location: Belleville, MI Shift: 1st Shift Pay: $17.50/hr

Job Summary

Workbox Staffing is hiring a Production Operator in Belleville, MI. In this role, you will be a key part of the manufacturing process, operating press machines, ensuring product quality, and maintaining accurate production records in a fast-paced environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Production Operator, your core responsibilities will include:

Machine Operation: Operate press machines in accordance with safety standards and work instructions
Material Handling: Load and unload metal plates and sheet metal into presses and inventory baskets
Quality Inspection: Inspect parts for defects to ensure they meet production standards
Documentation: Complete production reports, scrap reports, and lot tracking accurately
General Production Support: Assist with routine press maintenance and additional tasks as assigned

What We’re Looking For

Qualifications:

Ability to follow written instructions and production specifications
Experience in manufacturing or production environments preferred
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

Skills & Physical Requirements:

Strong attention to detail in both operation and inspection
Ability to work at a moderate, consistent pace
Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Ability to stand and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
