Registered Nurse (RN) - CVICU

Registered Nurse – Cardiovascular ICU

Night shifts (36 hours per week), weekdays and some weekends; rotating holidays. Up to 6 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule period.

Agency/travel assignment; locals accepted at the same rate.

Requirements

• Active RN license in the state.
• 2 years of Cardiac ICU/CVICU experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Familiarity with advanced cardiac support and critical care procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients in the cardiovascular ICU.
• Monitor hemodynamics and titrate cardiac/vasoactive drips.
• Manage ventilators and respiratory care for patients.
• Perform critical care procedures including IV starts and central line care.
• Provide post-op cardiac care and manage advanced cardiac devices.
• Assist and monitor patients undergoing ECMO treatment.

Ohio fingerprinting is required to be completed ASAP after booking. A strict compliance deadline exists. Candidates must have valid compact or state RN license at the time of submission. Vaccination for COVID-19 is not required; flu vaccine required with medical exemptions only.
