Senior Accountant

Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Washington, DC. Key Responsibilities: Support the month-end and year-end close process, including preparation of journal entries and general ledger reconciliations Perform balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies Assist with audit preparation by compiling schedules, supporting documentation, and responding to audit requests Provide accounting support during an ERP implementation, including parallel testing, validation of financial data, and process improvements Support grant accounting activities, including reconciliation of restricted funds and compliance with applicable accounting standards Collaborate with accounting leadership to improve workflows and reduce manual processes Assist with financial reporting and other ad hoc accounting projects as needed Responsibilities Kforce has a client that is seeking a Senior Accountant in Washington, DC. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law.
