Senior Accountant

Cherry Bekaert Recruiting is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Senior Accountant. This role will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial reporting and supporting the organization’s accounting operations. The ideal candidate will have strong general ledger experience and a solid understanding of accounting principles. Key Responsibilities Perform and review general ledger reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements Lead and support the month-end close process Prepare and post journal entries and maintain general ledger integrity Provide support for internal and external audits , including documentation and schedules Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support financial reporting needs Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 2+ years of general ledger accounting experience CPA certification preferred (or in progress) Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting systems High attention to detail and strong organizational skills Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication abilities #J-18808-Ljbffr
