Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing high-risk obstetric care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment, supporting various patient diagnoses including midwifery clients, private obstetrics, and community clinics supporting substance recovery. Job Details Certifications: ACLS (Preferred), AWHONN Advanced (Preferred), BLS (Required), NRP (Required) Education Requirements: Current state license with a compact license in hand at submission. Years of Experience: At least 3 years of high-risk obstetric experience required; candidates with 3-5 years of high-risk experience will be considered. Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 48 hours per week, days shift. Additional Responsibilities: Function in the role of Baby Nurse during deliveries, providing newborn care until transfer to postpartum, including assessments, eyes, thighs, evaluation, and feeding support. Float: Float rotation may be required between units supporting antepartum, postpartum, and NICU, as needed. Clinical Skills: Experience with electronic fetal monitoring, high-risk delivery assistance, neonatal resuscitation, postpartum and antepartum care, and use of relevant clinical equipment. Submission Requirements: Must include responses to prior employment at a Providence facility, two references covering one year within the last three years, and current proof of certification.
