Travel Nurse RN - Labor and Delivery - $3,280 per week (Hiring Immediately)

Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a travel nursing job in Seattle, Washington. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 26 weeks 48 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Labor and Delivery (L&D) Nurse Location unspecified. This position involves providing high-quality care in a high-acuity, high-volume labor and delivery environment. The role includes functioning as a Baby Nurse during delivery and continuing newborn care until transfer to postpartum, supporting various patient diagnoses with a focus on high-risk obstetric cases. Job Details Required Qualifications: Valid compact license in hand, at least 3 years of experience in high-risk obstetric care, including high acuity and fast-paced environments, with experience in electronic fetal monitoring (EPIC HARDSTOP). Certifications needed: BLS, NRP, ACLS preferred, AWHONN Advanced preferred. Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 48 hours per week, with work every other weekend and holidays as needed. Additional responsibilities: Functions as a Baby Nurse during delivery, providing newborn assessments, eyes, thighs, and assessment, including eye care, vitamin K injections, and newborn evaluations. Circulates during deliveries, assists with high-risk delivery procedures, and supports postpartum care. Float: Postpartum/Antepartum float to sister facilities and assistance in units supporting maternal and newborn health is required. Other Requirements: Prior charge experience, experience with EPIC electronic fetal monitoring, and the ability to work in fast-paced, high-risk environments are essential.
