Job Description As a Security Officer Patrol Watch in Fredericksburg, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Wed 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM; Thur 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM; Fri 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM; Sun 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including contacting appropriate personnel and documenting security-related concerns. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions. Monitor access points, assist with visitor direction, and help to support orderly movement throughout the location while following post orders and client guidelines. Communicate with supervisors, medical staff, and/or local responders as needed regarding security-related matters, hazards, and incident updates. Minimum Requirements Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred. Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
