Onboarding HR Specialist

Superior Skilled Trades (SST) is seeking an Onboarding HR Specialist to play a key role in supporting and coordinating onboarding activities to ensure a seamless and compliant experience for all new hires. Fulltime, Internal Position: Onboarding Specialist Location: Tampa, FL Salary: $45,000‑55,000/yr Bonus: $1,000–$2,000 in monthly incentives Schedule: Mon‑Fri, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Essential Skills & Qualifications Prior experience in onboarding, preferably in a fast‑paced staffing or high‑volume environment. Thrive in a fast‑paced environment where you perform proactively and with urgency. Strong knowledge of HR systems, onboarding platforms, and compliance requirements (Avionte’ and Fieldglass a plus). Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for helping others succeed. Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Strong attention to detail and the ability to juggle multiple tasks. Self‑starter who thrives in a team‑oriented, dynamic environment. Flexibility to work outside of normal business hours during busy/peak times. Key Responsibilities Lead the end‑to‑end onboarding process for new hires including new hire paperwork, background check/screening, data and document collection and submission, and monitoring the status of each step. Utilize various software and programs in order to complete a high‑volume of data entry. Serve as the go‑to contact for new employees, answering questions and guiding them through the onboarding process.
