The Strategic Initiatives Manager – Private Capital drives high-impact initiatives across private capital programs, including fund structuring, portfolio optimization, and operational efficiency projects. This role blends strategic planning, program management, and cross-functional collaboration to support senior leadership in achieving investment objectives and enhancing program performance.
The position involves working closely with portfolio managers, investment teams, operations, and senior executives to implement initiatives that improve portfolio outcomes and create measurable value.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage strategic projects and initiatives across private capital portfolios
Analyze portfolio performance, capital allocation, and program effectiveness to identify improvement opportunities
Develop project plans, dashboards, and reporting tools to monitor initiative progress and outcomes
Coordinate with internal teams (investment, operations, finance, legal) and external partners to drive project execution
Support senior leadership with strategic recommendations, presentations, and decision-making insights
Identify operational inefficiencies, risk exposures, and opportunities to optimize processes or program structure
Prepare regular updates, reports, and ad-hoc analyses for executive stakeholders
Ensure initiatives comply with internal governance, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field
Experience in private capital, investment management, or strategic project management
Strong analytical skills and the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with PowerPoint, SQL, or project management tools is a plus
Strong written and verbal communication skills for stakeholder engagement and executive reporting
Ability to manage multiple strategic initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
Collaborative mindset with experience working across investment, operations, and leadership teams
