Senior Tax Accountant

Firm Overview The Partner of this small Long Island CPA firm looks after his employees and doesn't expect them to work long hours. If his people are happy, they tend to be more productive. Most people stay long term (20 years+). Schedules are flexible, allowing earlier or later start times as long as required hours are met. Time off is generous, sick days are not tightly policed, and the entire week of Thanksgiving is paid time off. This firm expects people to leave at normal business hours. Partners want the office cleared by 5 pm. Evenings are for family, rest, and life outside of work. Opportunity The firm is growing. That means exposure to complex tax and accounting work you would not typically see in a smaller firm environment.
