Senior Staff Accountant

A well-established Long Island based accounting firm is seeking a Senior Accountant - Restaurant/Food Industry in Melville, NY Duties include: Bank and Credit card reconciliations Senior Accountant will maintain and balance the general ledger accurately Preparing trial balances, journal entries Entering data, maintaining records, and creating reports and financial statements As a Senior Accountant, you will perform general ledger work and tax write ups Preparing income and business tax returns for companies, partnerships, and individuals Requirements 3+ years of experience with accounting for the restaurant industry, including fast-serve restaurants Strong experience with Excel, including Pivot Tables and V-Lookup Self-motivated and ambitious Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and learn from other team members Able to build working relationships with peers, management, and client personnel Experience with Restaurant 365 and/or QSR software a plus Experience with CCH Axcess Tax and Document a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr
