What You’ll Do: As our Kitchen Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen. Your responsibilities will include: Preparing and cooking menu items with precision and consistency. Managing inventory, ordering food products, and maintaining stock levels. Overseeing portion and quality control standards for all menu items. Supervising and scheduling kitchen staff to ensure optimal efficiency. Maintaining cleanliness and adhering to all state and local food handling requirements. Creating specials and contributing to menu development while upholding our quality standards. Ensuring the maintenance and proper functioning of all kitchen equipment. Conducting team meetings, training sessions, and fostering a collaborative work environment. Addressing health and safety concerns promptly and effectively. What We’re Looking For: To succeed in this role, you’ll need the following skills and qualifications: Experience: A minimum of 3 years in a kitchen management or similar role. Education: A high school diploma is preferred. Leadership: Strong supervisory skills, including hiring, training, and motivating kitchen staff. Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with team members and management. Problem-Solving: Strong reasoning skills to handle challenges in a fast-paced environment. Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 75 pounds, and work in a high-temperature environment.
