Pride Health is hiring a Medical Assistant to support our client's healthcare facility in Cypress, TX.

Job Details: 
Schedule:  Mon, Wed, Thurs, Friday
Location:   Cypress TX, 77433
Job Type:  Local contract 
Contract Length: 1 month (with possible extension or conversion)
Pay Range: $21- $23/hr
*Pay offered is based on experience, expertise, credentialing, and education.  

Duties: 

• Provide supportive care to pediatric patients under physician/RN supervision.
• Obtain vital signs and assist with patient assessments and procedures.
• Administer injections and perform delegated clinical tasks.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical standards.
• Assist physicians and nurses with pediatric examinations and treatments.
• Document patient information accurately in EPIC.
• Follow HIPAA, infection control, and patient safety guidelines.

Requirements: 

• Education: High School Diploma/ GED
• Certification(s): MA Certification preferred
• Years of experience: 1+ years of experience in   ambulatory care.
• Skills/Specialties/Technology:   Previous experience working in pediatric ambulatory care is required & Experience working with EPIC EMR.
