THE ROLE

Win - Women in Need is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Development Operations Coordinator to support the daily operations of our development team. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate processing of donor contributions, maintaining donor records, supporting fundraising campaigns and events, and helping provide excellent donor stewardship.

Reporting to the Manager, Gift Processing & Research, the Development Operations Coordinator will play a key role in gift processing, CRM administration, reconciliation support, event data management, and overall Development Operations functions. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, processes, and systems while contributing to an organization dedicated to ending homelessness for women and families.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Process donor gifts accurately and timely, including checks, credit cards, wire transfers, stock gifts, and donor-advised fund contributions.
• Generate and distribute donor acknowledgment letters and stewardship communications.
• Maintain accurate donor records and data within Salesforce.
• Perform data quality reviews and ensure the integrity of donor information.
• Prepare deposit documentation and support gift reconciliation processes with Finance.
• Maintain organized records and supporting documentation for gifts, deposits, and donor activity.
• Support fundraising campaigns and events through data entry, donor tracking, and reporting.
• Respond to donor inquiries and provide administrative support to the Development team.
• Process Development mail and gift-related correspondence.
• Participate in cross-training and support other administrative projects as assigned.
• Communicate workload status, processing needs, and operational issues proactively.

WHO YOU WILL BE

• Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM/database systems preferred.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
• Passionate about the mission of supporting women and families experiencing homelessness.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Comfortable working with data, systems, and documentation in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative team player who communicates effectively with colleagues across departments.
• Able to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines and maintaining confidentiality.
• Preferred Qualifications
• 1-3 years of administrative, nonprofit development, gift processing, database management, or related operational experience.
