As a Solutions Architect, you’ll play a critical role in translating that mission into real-world impact—designing scalable, thoughtful solutions that solve complex customer problems and drive meaningful outcomes.This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing role where you’ll partner closely with sales, product, and engineering teams to shape how MX’s platform is implemented and scaled. You’ll bring both technical depth and business context—acting as a trusted advisor to customers while helping internal teams deliver solutions that are practical, performant, and aligned to long-term success.What You’ll DoPartner with customers and stakeholders: Work closely with customers, sales, and internal teams to understand business goals, technical requirements, and constraints—translating them into scalable, high-impact solutionsDesign end-to-end architectures: Lead the design of solution architectures across infrastructure, applications, data, and security—ensuring performance, scalability, and long-term maintainabilityDrive technical discovery and feasibility: Conduct assessments to evaluate solution viability, identify risks and dependencies, and guide decision-making with clear tradeoffs and recommendationsAct as a trusted advisor: Provide guidance on best practices, architecture patterns, and emerging technologies—helping customers and internal teams make informed technical decisionsSupport pre-sales and solutioning efforts: Partner with sales to lead technical discussions, present solutions, and build confidence with customers throughout the sales cycleCollaborate across teams: Work cross-functionally with engineering, product, and operations to ensure solutions are implemented effectively and aligned with MX standardsDocument and communicate clearly: Create architecture diagrams, design documentation, and implementation plans that enable alignment and successful executionContinuously improve: Stay current on industry trends and proactively identify opportunities to improve MX’s technical approach, scalability, and customer experienceBasic Qualifications6+ years of experience in solutions architecture, technical consulting, or a related customer-facing technical role5+ years of experience designing cloud-based architectures (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and modern distributed systems4+ years of experience partnering directly with customers or stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions4+ years of experience leading or contributing to end-to-end solution design, including APIs, data flows, and system integrationsPreferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldExperience with fintech, SaaS, or data-driven platformsStrong understanding of modern architecture patterns (microservices, event-driven systems, serverless, containers)Experience with API design, data modeling, and integration strategiesFamiliarity with security best practices and compliance considerations in cloud environmentsExperience supporting pre-sales efforts, including solution presentations and technical demosRelevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Architect)MX is proudly committed to recruiting and retaining a diverse and inclusive workforce.
