Geek Squad Agent (Retail Store)

Overview As a Geek Squad Agent, you’ll be the first point of contact for people seeking technology support, knowledge and solutions for computers and other devices at our local Best Buy store. We’ll provide the training and resources you need to assess customers’ needs, perform basic services and partner with other agents as needed on more complex repairs. This role is ideal if you enjoy helping family and friends with their tech questions. What you’ll do Provide positive, timely service to customers during the check‑in and checkout process Understand technology issues by asking questions, listening, following up, taking detailed notes and giving accurate time estimates for next steps Help customers set up new devices and advise on whether to repair or replace old devices Monitor service queues and provide accurate status updates to customers Maintain knowledge and skillsets through certified training courses Communicate clearly and partner with fellow agents Qualifications 3 months of experience working in retail or customer service Ability to work a flexible schedule, including holidays, nights and weekends Preferred qualifications Passion for technology and desire to solve problems Ability to adapt and learn new skills in a fast‑paced industry Benefits Competitive pay (US$18–$23.23 per hour) Great employee discount Financial savings and retirement resources Support for physical and mental well‑being Leave options include paid time off and various types of leave of absence.
