You may review, modify, or update your information by visiting and logging into the careers section of the system.Job Description:At Regions, the Finance Valuation Analyst provides analytics and commentary with respect to credit modeling and assumptions used for discounting and cash flow projection.Primary ResponsibilitiesAssists in the documentation of processes, procedures, and model assumptions in accordance with internal validation standardsContributes to the development of behavioral models intended to capture unique cash flowsProvides implementable statistical analytics for the support of portfolio modelingVerifies modeling and data assumptions and works with leadership to make updates and changes when neededBuilds market intelligence and reporting around current deals, valuations, and pricingIncorporates elements of acquisition evaluation, portfolio valuation, profitability analysis, and market researchCollaborates with business segments to provide analytics for strategic decision making and to identify risks in the portfolios/positionsReceives instructions, guidance, and direction from senior level associatesMay act as a resource to associates with less experienceThis position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay. RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related fieldThree (3) years of experienceSkills and CompetenciesBackground in one or more of the following: Loan valuation, mergers and acquisitions, credit modeling, portfolio analytics, securitizations, capital markets, or quantitative modelingData management skillsExcellent analytical and quantitative skillsHighly motivatedProficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)Strong attention to detail and sound decision-making skillsThis position is intended to be onsite, now or in the near future. Associates will have regular work hours, including full days in the office three or more days a week. The manager will set the work schedule for this position, including in-office expectations.
