Financial Analyst

Responsibilities Support Motion's Executive, Finance, and Operational Leadership by contributing to financial analyses Assists with the identification of operational improvement opportunities Collect, manage, analyze, and disseminate financial information and analyses Design and implement financial models and key performance indicator reports Analyze profit & loss statements and monitor performance Perform trend and sensitivity analysis Participate in financial discussions with business leaders Serve as a business partner with various leaders Identify and drive process improvements Increase productivity by developing automated reporting and modeling tools Assist in the creation of executive presentations Lead and participate in ad hoc projects Requirements Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, or Economics from an accredited institution Zero (0) to two (2) years of related experience in Finance, Accounting or Business Analysis/Planning Experience with data modeling, analysis, and data visualization/business intelligence tools Advanced skills in PowerPoint and Excel to include VBA, pivot tables and complex formulas Displays project management ability to coordinate tasks, timelines, and resources Proven problem-solving skills Ability to identify and communicate solutions to complex business opportunities in a time-critical environment Must be highly organized and detail oriented Core Competencies Demonstrates expertise in financial analysis, data modeling, and the development of automated reporting tools.
