Location: Charlotte, NC
Full Time
Must-Have Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of experience as an SQL Developer or Database Developer.
- Strong expertise in SQL Server, T-SQL, Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, and Views.
- Experience writing complex SQL queries and optimizing query performance.
- Knowledge of database design, normalization, indexing, and data modeling.
- Experience with ETL processes and data integration.
- Hands-on experience with SSIS, SSRS, or Power BI is a plus.
- Familiarity with database security, backup, recovery, and performance tuning.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain SQL databases and database objects.
- Write, optimize, and troubleshoot complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.
- Analyze and improve database performance through query optimization and indexing.
- Support ETL processes and ensure data integrity across multiple systems.
- Collaborate with application developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand data requirements.
- Create and maintain database documentation, data dictionaries, and technical specifications.
- Perform database maintenance, monitoring, backup, and recovery activities.
- Troubleshoot production issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Ensure compliance with database security and best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Microsoft SQL Server certifications are a plus.
- Experience with Azure SQL Database, AWS RDS, or other cloud database platforms is an advantage.
