Personnel Assistant

Dynamic Systems Technology, Inc. is excited to announce a career opportunity for a dedicated full‑time Personnel Assistant. This position is integral to the success of our team and requires a candidate who is passionate about supporting complex human resources functions. This is an on‑site position that offers the chance to engage directly with team members and stakeholders, ensuring operational excellence in human resource management. The role is based in our bustling office environment where teamwork and professionalism are at the core of our operations. This position is not suitable for remote work, emphasizing the need for direct, hands‑on collaboration with our team and clients. Duties and Responsibilities Provide administrative and research support services for the Directorate of Human Resources at Ft. Polk. Maintain professional customer service across all interactions, achieving high customer satisfaction by delivering HR services courteously and promptly. Demonstrate proficiency in military human resources functional areas such as Personnel Records, Information Systems, In & Out Processing, and DEERS/Identification Card Management. Function as Team Leader / first line supervisor within a specific MPD work center. Coordinate with unit administrators, commanders, and other service providers on installation. Deliver detailed briefings and counsel Soldiers and Family Members individually or in groups regarding HR procedures. Administer HR specialty roles in areas like Soldier Readiness Processing, Soldier Actions, Promotion Processing, and Casualty Management among others. Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of HQDA directives, HR policies, and procedural guidelines pertinent to the role. Verify the accuracy of records and determine benefits eligibility through comprehensive research and policy review. Utilize established quality control metrics to collect workload and performance data. Monitor and enhance customer satisfaction levels through the Interactive Customer Evaluation (ICE) System. Conduct informal verbal counseling and provide feedback on employee performance to the Program Manager. Requirements Possess a minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent; higher education or certifications in human resources preferred. Must have skill‑level 3 technical proficiency across military HR functional areas. At least 3 years of experience in a human resources role within a military or defense setting. Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interface with all levels of staff, including management and external partners. Capability to conduct detailed research and provide accurate data regarding HR policies and records. Must be proactive, with the ability to identify and solve problems effectively and efficiently. Experience in using human resource information systems (HRIS) and databases adeptly. Must possess a favorably adjudicated Tier I security investigation. Commitment to the professional ethical handling of sensitive information. Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as independently with minimal supervision. Details Location: Ft.
