IT Specialist

This position serves as an IT Specialist, located in the Office of Information Technology, Executive Office for Immigration Review, U.S. Department of Justice. The Information Technology Specialist is responsible for performing enterprise risk analysis for information systems and technology portfolios, identifying cybersecurity risks, architectural vulnerabilities, operational weaknesses, and technology dependencies. Basic Qualifications (2210 series) To qualify for the GS-13 grade level, you must have one (1) year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service, or comparable non-Federal experience. Specialized experience is defined as experience performing the following duties: Analyzing information technology systems and portfolios to identify performance gaps, security vulnerabilities, operational weaknesses, and technology discrepancies; Developing and delivering technical briefings and documentation to support IT investments strategies, enterprise capabilities, and cross-functional modernization initiatives; Applying Federal IT policies, NIST standards, Zero Trust architecture principles to conduct risk assessments and ensure compliance with enterprise standards; Analyzing and integrating IT principles across business processes, applications, and infrastructure environments to improve data quality, accessibility, operational efficiency, and mission outcome.
