Job OverviewA law firm seeks a Patent Agent in Barrington, IL. The successful candidate will collaborate with a diverse clientele, including startups and Fortune 100 companies, across various industries such as electrical engineering, telecommunications, and medical products. Duties Evaluate patent portfolios and draft licensing agreements. Conduct re-exam evaluations and due diligence in M&A transactions. Participate in advanced inventing sessions and opinion work. File and prosecute trademarks. Requirements Experience in patent evaluation and drafting agreements. Proficiency in conducting due diligence and re-exam evaluations. Ability to work with diverse industries and clients. Education Degree in a relevant field preferred. Certifications Registered Patent Agent with the USPTO preferred.
