The QC Laboratory Manager is responsible for leading the laboratory team to ensure that batch release and stability testing activities are completed within defined timelines and in full compliance with Vantive Quality Management System (QMS) requirements. This role ensures adherence to safety, GDP, and GLP standards, while driving continuous improvement and operational excellence within the laboratory environment. Key Responsibilities Accountability (on behalf of Plant Quality Manager – QMR) Implement and maintain Vantive QMS requirements for Laboratory Systems Ensure all batches are tested and released to QA within agreed timelines Support the Validation Manager by providing laboratory resources Support the Stability Process Lead by ensuring stability testing is executed and completed within expected timeframes Operational Responsibilities Drive the implementation of Visual Management and 6S practices within the laboratory Lead continuous improvement initiatives and VIP projects Develop and enhance leading performance indicators and drive ongoing improvementMaintain and update laboratory metrics using tracking tools (MOST) Quality Systems Responsibilities Actively participate and lead key quality systems, including: Laboratory Investigation Reports (LIR): Initiator, Owner, Approver Change Control: Initiator and Owner Documentation: Owner NCR/CAPA: Initiator and Owner Internal Audits: Lead Auditor Skills & Experience Degree in Science, Chemistry, Microbiology, or related discipline Strong understanding of: GMP / GLP / GDP requirements, Laboratory operations and quality systems.
