Interim Healthcare Accounting Manager
We are seeking an experienced Interim Accounting Manager to support a growing healthcare organization during a period of increased close volume and process improvement. This is a hands on role focused on stabilizing month end close and supporting multi entity accounting operations. Assignment Details
We are seeking an experienced Interim Accounting Manager to support a growing healthcare organization during a period of increased close volume and process improvement. This is a hands on role focused on stabilizing month end close and supporting multi entity accounting operations. Assignment Details
- 3 to 6 month contract, with possible extension
- Hybrid, 3 days/week onsite
- Start ASAP
- Oversee day to day accounting and general ledger activities
- Manage month end and year end close processes
- Prepare and review financial statements and balance sheet reconciliations
- Support multiple affiliates and joint venture entities
- Strengthen internal controls and clean up backlog items
- Partner with finance and FP&A teams on close and reporting
- Assist with audit schedules and reconciliations
- Support accounting system optimization and transitions
- 5 or more years of progressive accounting experience
- Healthcare accounting experience required
- Strong GAAP knowledge and close process ownership
- Multi-entity accounting experience
- Advanced Excel skills and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment
- CPA preferred
- Specialty healthcare or surgery based experience a plus
- NetSuite experience preferred
- Workday or system transition experience a plus
- Joint venture experience a plus
