Join the FX Business & Legal Affairs team and gain hands‑on experience drafting agreements for above‑the‑line talent (producers, writers, directors, actors, and casting directors), underlying rights, and marketing for groundbreaking scripted and unscripted streaming programming. This part‑time internship, from September 2026 through December 2026, will have you supporting a dynamic team across development, production, legal, and marketing, and contributing to high‑profile projects that shape the future of entertainment. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of Business Affairs. What You Will Do Draft producing, acting, writing and development agreements; marketing services agreements; option purchase agreements; and respond to talent redline comments. Sit in on production legal kickoff calls, department meetings, and marketing task force meetings. Assist with research projects and help synthesize deal‑terms negotiation updates, closed‑deal terms, and signed agreements between departments. Required Qualifications & Skills Previous work experience in the entertainment industry, and basic knowledge of copyright law and intellectual property. Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure. Detail‑oriented approach, even when processing a large volume of documents; ability to take initiative and balance multiple projects. Collaborative teammate who can also work independently. Demonstrate a high degree of discretion regarding sensitive and/or confidential information. Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with Airtable and/or Netdocs. Education Currently enrolled at an accredited law school and legally eligible to work in the U.S. Completion of one year of law school in a current JD program at the start of the internship. Eligibility Requirements & Program Information Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree, taking at least one class at the time of application, or currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship. Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program. Be at least 18 years of age. Possess unrestricted work authorization. Additional Information Able to have a consistent, reliable work schedule throughout the internship. The approximate dates of this internship are September 2026 through December 2026. Available part‑time from Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. PST for the duration of the internship, 20 hours each week. Internship schedule will be adjusted to accommodate class schedule, and Friday hours may be remote, if desired. Able to provide own housing for the duration of the internship program in the Burbank, California area. Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work. The pay rate for this role in California is $41.40 per hour.
