Senior Accountant

4 days a week in office Public company Base plus bonus Responsibilities May Include, But Not Limited To Responsible for certain Accounting and Finance. Is able to analyze, explain and process improve within these functions. Creates, analyzes, and interprets reporting for functional responsibilities. Leads complex projects, process development, training, and team development. Proactive evaluation of process improvement and efficiencies throughout their department. Prepares Journal Entries (JE’s). Assists with month-end analysis, review, reporting Oversees, supports, and/or backup for some administrative functions as needed. Possibly including, but not limited to, front desk, phones, scanning, tracking driver logs, administering driver bags (documentation, keys, checks, etc), scheduling maintenance, ordering/monitoring supplies, and other administrative functions. Meets with various departments, managers and leadership to discuss, interpret, and gather information to be able to perform their duties for this position. Ensures compliance with accounting policies, internal controls, and reporting deadlines within the scope of their position Assists with review of P&L, B/S and other various financial reports throughout the month. Works with management to ensure that functions within the scope for this position are Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) compliant. Performs other related duties as assigned. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 3-5 years of General Ledger and Financial Accounting experience Strong computer skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel required. Preferred Qualifications: Masters/MBA or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) 4+ years of Financial Accounting or Operations Accounting experience (preferably in food distribution environment) Public accounting experience is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Bradsby Group
