Staff AccountantKey Role:Provides timely and accurate financial record keeping and reporting as directed by management. Applies advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction, and mentors and may supervise team members. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required. This position is a hybrid role with a combination of working at a Booz Allen office or client site and working remotely.Basic Qualifications:5+ years of experience with accounting and an understanding of intercompany and consolidationExperience with using Microsoft Office products, including advanced Excel Knowledge of compliance for the requirements of Sarbanes-Oxley, including identifying and documenting key controls and processes, assisting with remediation activities, and supporting internal controls testingBachelor’s degree in Accounting or FinanceAdditional Qualifications:Experience with government cost accounting standardsAbility to handle details, multi-task, and prioritize changing objectives in a fast-paced environmentAbility to be a team player who can work independently and in a cross-functional environmentPossession of excellent oral and written communication skills, including communicating with all levels of staffPossession of excellent analytical and problem-solving skillsLicensed or candidate CPA CertificationCompensationAt Booz Allen, we celebrate your contributions, provide you with opportunities and choices, and support your total well-being. The projected compensation range for this position is $65,300.00 to $149,000.00 (annualized USD).
