Job Description
Title: RN - Perioperative / PACU

Schedule:
- Shift type: Block
- Patient ratios: 3:1 days, 3:1 nights
- Call requirement: Weeknights and weekends

Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- NY state RN license in hand
- EPIC charting experience
- Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
- Mandatory competencies: Phlebotomy and IV placement

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Provide care in Phase I PACU and Phase II recovery settings.
- Monitor patients post-anesthesia and during recovery.
- Administer medications and perform phlebotomy and IV placement.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Assist in transitioning patients to the next level of care.

Compliance / Notes:
- Orientation: 16 hours
- Candidates must be >75 miles from the facility
- RTO rule: Cannot submit candidates with >10 days RTO
- Background checks will be reviewed case-by-case
- Scrubs provided (teal)
