Senior Associate, Venture Investing

Yamaha Motor Ventures is looking for a Senior Associate to join their investment team in Palo Alto, CA. This role is perfect for someone who is energetic and curious about various technologies. You’ll be involved in sourcing and analyzing investment opportunities, conducting due diligence, and helping to build relationships within the startup ecosystem. What You’ll Do Build relationships in the venture and startup world to find investment opportunities. Help with due diligence and investment research. Analyze business plans and investment proposals. Develop investment recommendations and reports. Facilitate collaborations between startups and Yamaha’s businesses. Attend industry events to represent Yamaha Motor Ventures. What You Need Curiosity about different technologies and a desire to learn. Bachelor’s degree in science, business, or engineering; advanced degrees preferred. Experience in manufacturing, robotics, or AI is a plus. At least 5 years in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking. Strong financial modeling skills.
