Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s psychological state and develop appropriate treatment strategies.

• Utilize various therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy, to deliver evidence-based interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on emotional processing, skill development, and personal growth.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.

• Engage in crisis intervention, confidently supporting clients during mental health emergencies.

• Provide education to patients and their families about mental health disorders, available treatments, and community resources.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

• Strong understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methods, including trauma-informed care.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations, accurately diagnose conditions, and create effective treatment plans.

• Experience facilitating individual and group therapy in a variety of therapeutic modalities.

• Exceptional crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills, remaining composed in challenging scenarios.

• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a talent for building rapport with clients.

• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems and competence in Microsoft Office applications.

Preferred Experience\n
