Job Responsibilities

• Develop Personalized Treatment Plans: Assess the specific needs of patients to create tailored therapy strategies that help them reach their functional goals.
• Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based practices to bolster patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities.
• Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner with OTs, PTs, STs, medical professionals, and nursing staff to provide comprehensive, integrated care.
• Educate Patients and Caregivers: Instruct patients and their families on therapy methods that support ongoing progress at home.
• Track Progress and Document Changes: Monitor patient development and adapt treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued improvement.

Education and Credentials

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Encouragement for ongoing education or advanced certifications to enrich professional growth.

Licensure

• Current and active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license.
• Required certification from the NBCOT (National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy).
