Step into a dynamic contract opportunity supporting students in a collaborative, school-based environment near Independence, MO. This full-time position offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across multiple school sites, working alongside educators and specialists who are passionate about student success.

You will split your time between a high school and a middle school, with potential involvement at a third building. At the high school level, the primary focus will be supporting students in ESC and BEST classrooms (approximately 11 students), while also providing overflow Speech-Language Pathology services at the middle school and possibly another campus. This structure allows you to build ongoing relationships with students and staff while enjoying professional variety in your week.

Qualifications:

• Valid SLP license required
• CCC-SLP credentials
• Experience providing SLP services in educational settings, ideally at both middle and high school levels
• Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
• Commitment to evidence-based practices and individualized student care

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct and consultative speech and language services to assigned students, with a focus on both group and individualized needs
• Travel between assigned schools: primarily Liberty High School (3 days/week) and Heritage Middle School plus a potential third site (2 days/week)
• Maintain comprehensive and timely documentation
• Collaborate with special education teams, teachers, and families to maximize student growth
• Support progress monitoring and participate in IEP meetings
