Key Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
• Current ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) eligibility
• Previous experience in a school setting or with pediatric populations preferred
• Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) devices
• Skill in managing diverse caseloads, including working with students with significant challenges
• Proven ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers

Essential Responsibilities:

• Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students with limited communication abilities
• Incorporate AAC strategies and support device use in daily instruction
• Work closely with teachers, special educators, and support staff to deliver integrated communication interventions
• Track student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and adjust strategies as needed
• Participate in IEP meetings, advocating for student needs and appropriate accommodations
