Make a meaningful impact in the Kansas City, MO area supporting students with diverse communication needs in a dynamic school setting. This full-time, onsite opportunity is ideal for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the CCC credential and school-based experience. You’ll work closely with students in both high school and middle school environments, focusing on those in specialized classrooms as well as providing overflow support across multiple buildings.

Key Qualifications:

• Current SLP license and Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
• Previous experience working in a school-based setting preferred
• Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills for working with students, educators, and families
• Ability to adapt to multiple schools and caseloads, prioritizing students’ individual needs
• Excellent organizational skills to manage documentation and service delivery

Responsibilities:

• Deliver speech-language therapy services to students, primarily at a high school (3 days/week) and a middle school (2 days/week), with possible support at an additional building
• Provide targeted intervention to students in Exceptional Student Classrooms (ESC) and BEST classrooms, serving approximately 11 high school students
• Collaborate closely with multi-disciplinary teams to support IEP goals
• Maintain thorough records and contribute to progress reports and meetings
• Flexibly adapt service plans based on caseload, school needs, and student progress
